TEXAS TRAIL CRUISERS CAR CLUB
Meeting Minutes of January 19, 2012
 
The Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club met at the Hub Cafe in Moorcroft at 7:20 pm with members present: Robert Olson, Jim Rexford, Phyllis & Mike Southard, Mark Spear, Randy Blakeman and Jeff and Carolyn Holberg. Visitor was Ray Burger.
 
Treasurer's Report:   
The balance as of December 1, 2011 was $5,885.72, there was $500 in expenses (Christmas baskets for Pine Haven & Moorcroft-$250 each) leaving a balance on December 31, 2011 of $5,385.72. There is $1,125 set aside for the 2011 scholarship recipients and $510 for the Campbell/Crook scholarships leaving an operational balance of $3,750.72. Randy moved to approve, Mike seconded, all ayes, motion carried.  
 
Secretarys's Report: 
The minutes of the November 17, 2011 meeting were read.  Jim moved to approve, seconded by Phyllis, all ayes, approved as read.  

Old business:
Ray Burger discussed the signature card information that is needed for the Boys Scout & Cub Scout accounts at
Pinnacle Bank.  Phyllis moved, Mark seconded, to give permission to the Boys Scouts and Cub Scouts to have two
separate checking accounts at Pinnacle Bank without any requirements of Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club signatures and that the four signatures on the card will be Ray and Dawn Burger and Jim & Micaela Reeves and two signatures will be required on each check, all ayes, motion carried.  
  
The Chili Feed and Hot Wheel Drags will be  held on Friday, February 24th at 6:30 pm.  The club and the Boy
Scouts & Cub Scouts will supply the chili.  Ray asked that as part of the evening  that Jim Reeves will be awarded his wood badge and beads and that it be called a Blue and Gold supper as part of the scouting program.  The Scouts will bring their Pine Wood Derby track and demonstrate it. 
  
The scholarships were discussed.  There was a current scholarship that was not paid in January as the student did not return to college. Randy presented a check from Collins Communications for the upcoming Campbell County scholarships. 
 
Carolyn had contacted the board members of the car club at the end of November and they agreed that the car club should donate to the Moorcroft Chamber of Commerce ($250) and the Pine Haven ($250) Christmas Basket funds since there was no meeting to be held in December.  It was also discussed to possibly have a toy fund in November for the Christmas baskets and maybe have a donation box at the Car Show to collect toys for the fund.  
  
New business:
Election of Officers was discussed.  Phyllis moved, Randy seconded, to nominate the following positions:  
President – Jeff Holberg, Vice-President – Clinton Jones, Secretary/Treasurer – Carolyn Holberg, Board of Directors – Mark Spear, Jim Rexford and Brock Burris, all ayes, motion carried.  

Phyllis moved, Randy seconded, to write a car club check to President Jeff and Secretary/Treasurer Carolyn Holberg for $100 to show their appreciation for their hard work for the club, all ayes,  motion carried. 
 
Randy moved, Mike seconded, to have the names of Clinton Jones, Mark Spear, Randy Blakeman, Jeff Holberg and Carolyn Holberg on the signature card at Pinnacle Bank for the Texas Trail Cruisers Car Club and that two signatures are required, all ayes, motion carried.  

Mark moved, Mike seconded, to reimburse Carolyn for the web page annual fee of $119.40 and the domain fee of $13.99 for a total of $133.39, all ayes, motion carried.
 
The Campbell County Classics and Customs After Xmas, Xmas party will be Friday, January 20that the Rockpile Community Center at 6:00 pm. Please bring a dish to pass and a $20 white elephant gift to exchange if you wish. 
There is a car show in Rapid City, SD from February 17th – 19th at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
 
It was decided to have the next meeting at Donna’s Diner at 7:00 pm on February 9th.  

Phyllis moved, Randy seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 8:40 pm, all ayes, motion carried.
